Alison Jones manages grantmaking under the Environment and Public Space program related to advancing our Community Greening Plans, Climate Resilience Plans, and Land Conservation objectives.
Previously, Alison spent four years with the non-profit organization Clean Ocean Action. As the Watershed Program Manager, she coordinated and managed statewide beach cleanups and community science water quality monitoring programs. She has water quality monitoring experience with NJ Department of Environmental Protection and U.S. Geological Survey. Alison served a 10-month AmeriCorps term as a New Jersey Watershed Ambassador, where she provided over 100 environmental education presentations to the public to raise awareness about water quality issues. Alison currently serves on the board of her local watershed association.
Alison holds a B.S. in Biology & Environmental Studies from Hobart & William Smith Colleges. Outside of work, you can find Alison gardening, hiking, baking, crafting, and spending time with her dog and two cats.
