Lindsay So manages grantmaking under the Arts and Culture program, with a focus on advancing our Arts and Culture General Operating Support objective.
Passionate about how the arts can reduce inequities and build engaged communities, Lindsay has worked in non-profits and government to highlight the functional role of arts and culture in empowering and enriching the lives of Philadelphians. Prior to joining the Foundation, Lindsay was the Assistant Director for the City of Philadelphia Office of Arts, Culture, and the Creative Economy, where she managed the office’s $4M budget, worked across City departments to integrate arts, culture, and creativity into City activities, and led the expansion of Performances in Public Spaces into year-round neighborhood arts programming.
Lindsay holds a bachelor’s degree in art history from New York University, a master’s degree in art administration from Drexel University, and a Certificate in Arts & Culture Strategy.
